Welcome to, Motherprint

Where Mothers familiarize themselves with the blueprint of their unique nervous system.

If you are active on social media, you have likely heard the terms, "nervous system," "regulation," "dysregulation," and perhaps even being a, "regulated mother." 
​
What MOST of it misses to include is the concept of, Nervous System MAPPING.

Our autonomic nervous system is always communicating with us. 

Regulation is not a one size fits all, approach! 

Mapping is a doorway through befriending our nervous system and attending to her and our environment in ways that lead to re-shaping our nervous system patterns. Mapping assists in developing a level of awareness, self observation and exploration that is both informative and crucial in the journey towards being a "regulated mother." It turns shame and pathology to curiosity and a deeper understanding of self.

We learn what's working and what's not working beyond the stories we tell ourselves. We learn what our unique body's need to mobilize through a situation and recognize what it feels like to move through our differing states. We learn what it ACTUALLY means to be regulated vs. dysregulated. We learn how to honor and respect our own lived experiences, physiology and needs. 

In MotherPrint, the intention is to follow the digital guide that walks you through HOW to start mapping. Just live your life while checking in and taking note at the end or beginning of the day of the circumstances around of stress, tension, ease, comfort and discomfort, and we will start to become more familiar with patterns of regulation and dysregulation and learn how to meet those needs.

In "MotherPrint," we will: 

  • Receive a digital guide that includes a mixture of personal wisdom, education, prompts and instruction on how to begin mapping your nervous system. 

  • Be a part of a live group chat on Telegram (download of this app is required) where you can exchange texts and voice notes with me and other group members moving through this work for 3 full weeks!

  • Have the ability to ask questions, bounce ideas and situations off one another, obtain clarification and supportive feedback, share crash outs, insights and accomplishments while we are collectively working through the guide. 

  • Have a therapist in your pocket!

  • Begin understanding yourself, your responses, patterns and needs.  

  • Learn how to meet those needs in an informed way that suits your unique composition. 

  • Establish a foundation of self care that you will continue to build as time passes in a more sustainable way. 

  • Become familiar with the basics of how the autonomic nervous system works.

  • Continue to go about your daily rhythm while increasing your insight. 

  • Take being a "calm mom" off of a pedestal, and feel secure in knowing what being a regulated mother is.

I will be sharing information and prompts in the chat, inviting people to share their experiences, along with being available to answer questions as they arise.

I'm Amanda

I'm a mother to 3 sons, holistic therapist and coach who specializes in complex-trauma, maternal nervous system care, and who supports women in making shifts in their healing journey through utilizing the wisdom of the nervous system and the insight of parts work.

I know from my own experience, how transformative and challenging this work can be. Especially when we are confronted with past wounds and conditioning that are no longer tolerable when we become mothers.

Join me while we move through unraveling our own unique blueprint, and begin setting the foundation for speaking the language of our unique nervous system, understanding ourselves and meeting our needs in a sustainable and nourishing way.
